Welcome to Fredrikstad!

More than half of the Tall Ships have withdrawn
02.08.05 High winds in the North Sea have dominated The Tall Ships´ Races since the last leg of the regatta began in Newcastle on Thursday. 44 of the competing vessels have now withdrawn from the regatta, many because of seasickness amongst the crew. But all is well with both ships and crews and the wind will decrease as the ships approach the Norwegian coast. Most of the vessels that have abandoned the race are still intent on coming to Fredrikstad.
Next stop Fredrikstad!
28.07.2005 Today the Tall Ships´ fleet leaves
Newcastle. On August 3rd the ships arrive Fredrikstad.
